Containing more antioxidants than any other bean, Black Beans are also high in protein and fibre and can be used in a myriad of ways. Use them for dips, vegan chilli, tacos, chopped in salads or tucked into burrito bowls.
Although rare, small stones can occasionally be missed during processing. Always check when rinsing pulses.
To Cook Black Beans, wash the dried beans and then pre-soak overnight. Drain and rinse very well. Cook the beans over medium low heat at a simmer in water or stock with seasonings until beans are tender (about 2-3 hours).
