The perfect base for any blend of herbs and spices, this mix of pearl barley, green lentils, red split lentils, yellow split peas and green peas can be used to create Indian, Middle Eastern, Moroccan, Oriental or classic European soups.
Add Soup Mix to an existing thin soup or stock. Bring to the boil and then simmer for 30-60 minutes. Cooking time may be reduced by soaking the soup mix overnight beforehand.
