Brown Short Grain Rice is a highly nutritious, gluten free grain that contains an impressive amount of vitamins, minerals and beneficial compounds.
When cooked the grains cling together and have a soft texture, making them perfect for croquettes, rice balls, paella and risotto.
Combine 1 Cup of rice, 2 cups water, and 1⁄2 teaspoon salt and bring to a boil. Stir once, cover, and reduce heat to low. Simmer for 50 minutes. (Do not lift the lid or stir!) Remove from heat and let stand, covered, for 5 minutes; fluff with a fork and serve.
